THANK YOU RICHMOND
Thank You for Making Charged Up Fest II a Resounding Success!
To our community, partners, artists, and every single person who showed up, showed love, and showed out — thank you. Because of your energy and support, Charged Up Fest II was not only a celebration of hip hop, culture, and community — it was a powerful reminder of what we can accomplish together.
This year’s festival was bigger, bolder, and more impactful than ever before. 6 days. 10+ events. 1 mission: to uplift, inspire, and empower. Here's a quick recap of the unforgettable moments that made this year so special:
Day 1: Charged Up Impact Awards
We kicked things off by honoring the real heroes in our community — the changemakers, the mentors, and the local legends making a difference every day. The Charged Up Impact Awards set the tone for a festival rooted in purpose and pride.
Day 2: Leading The Charge – Mental Health & Hip Hop Panel
In partnership with Meek Mill’s REFORM Alliance, we held a powerful discussion on the intersection of mental health, music, and justice reform. With voices like Mad Skillz, Ant Marshall of Lyricist Lounge, Chuck Creekmur of AllHipHop, and leaders in behavioral health, this panel sparked dialogue and healing that our culture truly needs.
Day 3: The Sound of the City
We turned up with two major showcases:
The R&B & Spoken Word Kick-Off Concert at 63ThirtyFive, brought to you by New Vision, gave soul, poetry, and vibes a platform.
Over at Yellow House Studios, Good Society presented the 64 Commerce Exchange Vol. 3, spotlighting talent from across the region.
Day 4: Capsule Pop-Up & Producers Cup
The day started at the Charged Up Flagship Store with the exclusive Charged Up Fest II Capsule Pop-Up, featuring a special guest appearance by the legendary AA Rashid.
That night, beats reigned supreme at the Producers Cup, headlined by icon DJ LES, and featuring performances by 183rd, Grimm Doza, JaeFrmJrz, Sammy Sno (Drumwork Music Group), Bub Styles, and more.
Day 5: Charged Up Fest Community Basketball Game
At John Marshall, we brought the competition to the court with the Team Charged Up vs. Master Your Moment basketball game. It was all love, laughs, and unity — the culture in motion.
Day 6: Shine, Dine, and the Grand Finale
We wrapped things up with the Urban Gems Shine N Dine Brunch at The Daily Menu, a moment to connect, reflect, and celebrate.
Then came the Grand Finale Concert — a night to remember. Noah-O & Friends closed out the week with explosive performances by Big No, Belly Gang Kushington, Pro Dillinger, SK Da King (Drumwork), Kaly Jay, King Delt, DJ Banga, Awol Beatz, Benny Watts, TTE, MG, Pay2Play RIXH, Like A Rock, BlackLiq, J Bizz, O-Z, and many more.
