is a full service American record label based in Richmond, Virginia, providing “Inspiration through Action” since 2002.

What started as a core group of childhood friends in 2002 has grown over the last twenty years to become one of the regions landmark entertainment companies. We have helped to unify our community through our various events and businesses we have helped to launch the careers of countless artists, creatives & entrepreneurs from our region.

Charged Up Entertainment INTL LLC. supports our artists & clientele through music recording, production, artist management, apparel design, brand strategy, event planning, marketing & promotion.

The ability to keep moving forward despite ones past or current challenges is the definition of being “Charged Up”.

2002 - Establishment of Charged Up Ent.

2006 - Inaugural VyAy Day Community Day in Richmond, Virginia. Virginia Youth Are Yearning Day helped to celebrate Peace & Unity in Richmond, Virginia. This landmark event at Dogwood Dell featured youth performers, guest speakers from Richmond City Council & Negro League All Stars. Sponsored by Chik-fil-a, Coca-Coca, 106.5 The Beat & FOX 35 Richmond.

2007 - VyAy Day 2 hosted at Dogwood Dell in RIchmond, VA. Sponsored by Chik-fil-a, Coca-Coca, 106.5 The Beat & FOX 35 Richmond.

2008 - Opening of the first Charged Up Studios in the Lakeside area of Richmond, Virginia.

2009 - Launch of “The Rebirth”, a monthly event highlighting Virginias Hip Hop scene.

2010 - Opening of 2nd Charged Up Studios in the Shockoe Bottom neighborhood of Richmond, Virginia. Noah-O also makes wave nationally with his song “I GOT IT” making it into rotation on MTV, a rare feat for an independent artist.

2011 - Noah-O wins Style Weekly’s Top 40 Under 40 award given to Richmond, Virginia area residents who are at the forefront professionally while giving back to the community. 2011 also marked the opening of the 3rd Charged Up Studios on West Broad Street in the Scott’s Addition area of Richmond, Virginia.

2012 - Launch of “Peep My Feet” Streetwear, Sneaker & Vintage conventions to bring together Virginia’s streetwear & sneaker community. Sponsored by The Source & Sneaker P a regionally based urban clothing & shoe chain.

2014 - 1st Charged Up Weekend. Day 1 included The Rebirth Beat Battle on with guest judges from Roc Nation & Blue Collar Gang Music Group. Day 2 featured concert at The Broadberry with guest performers from Maybach Music Group. 2014 also marks the release of Noah-O’s debut album “Monument Avenue” with producer Taylor Whitelow.

2015 - Noah-O releases the project “All Souled Out” with producer and mentor Kleph Dollaz which was originally recorded in 2011-2012 prior to the passing of the legendary producer.

2016 - Charged Up Entertainment rebrand and launch of “The Evolution of Noah-O”, a 6 part web series highlighting artists & creatives from Richmond, Virginia. Sponsored by K-Swiss & RVA Magazine. Noah-O & DJ Mentos release their first collaborative project, “The Rain”.

2017 - Noah-O appears on Sway In The Morning, HOT 97 with DJ Enuff & tours Europe for his “TRILLIPINO EUROPA TOUR”. The “Dirty Rice” series begins from Noah-O & producer Fan Ran.

2019 - Noah-O makes his 2nd appearance on Sway in the Morning with DJ Mentos. Release of “Dirty Rice: Deux” and Noah-O & DJ Mentos form the group Analog Suspects with the release of “transmission : 001”.

2020 - Through the pandemic & times of intense social change Charged Up was able to be a beacon of hope helping to facilitate meetings between Richmond City & Social Justice Community Leaders as well as lend our voice to numerous events in the State. Charged Up Ent. also helped volunteer for Community 50/50 a youth oriented non-profit. Noah releases 8 “Deadstock” mixtapes over 8 weeks as well “Live Poultry: Vol.1” with Brooklyn based producer Hongo 1 and “Culture Shock” with producer JL Hodges.

2021 - Noah-O’s 2014 album “Monument Avenue” was chosen to be enshrined in a time capsule at the base of the former Robert E. Lee Confederate Monument on Monument Avenue. Chosen for it’s relevance to the times it is hoped that future generations will have an accurate depiction of the Virginia of today. Noah-O was also highlighted in Style Weekly’s Year in Music Issue for his prolific musical and merch output during the pandemic.

2022 - Grand Opening of the Charged Up Flagship Store in Richmond, Virginia’s Arts District. Charged Up was also chosen as the 1st recipient of Venture Richmond & the Richmond Metropolitan Business League’s Broad Street Tenant Recruitment Grant given to Small, Women and Minority owned businesses located in RVA’s Arts District. Release of Noah-O’s autobiographical album “TRILLipino” with producer Suttahomz.

2023 - Noah-O + Big No release the collaborative project “Richmond Brave” to critical & public acclaim.

2024 - Charged Up Ent. is awarded the RVA Rapid Transit “Small Business Champion” Award.

• - “Richmond Brave” nominated for the Newlin Music Prize awarded to performers who have released an acclaimed musical album from the Central Virginia region.
